Exclusive membership for real estate’s
current and future leaders.
Membership in the DC Real Estate Group grants access to one of the most connected under-40 commercial real estate networks in the Washington, D.C. region.
Members are invited to exclusive speaker events featuring dedicated networking and open bar, followed by a seated three-course dinner and moderated conversations with distinguished leaders across real estate, politics, economics, and culture. The group also hosts rooftop networking receptions, a summer golf tournament, and additional member-only gatherings throughout the season.
Membership also includes access to a private, digital directory to facilitate meaningful connections and collaboration.
Active Members: $1,350/annual dues
Honorary Members: $600/annual dues
Join Real Estate Group
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
Attend a minimum of three Real Estate Group events, of which at least two are Speaker Series events. Have at least three years of relevant real estate experience. Be under the age of 40 throughout the upcoming Real Estate Group season. Receive two letters of recommendation from active and/or honorary members. Current Executive Board Members shall not provide letters of recommendation. Strongly encouraged to meet with the Executive Board Members to discuss membership. Please reach out to schedule meetings no less than two weeks prior to the application deadline.
The Executive Board will evaluate applicants based on the following:
- Above criteria being largely satisfied.
Applicant’s professionalism, industry reputation, and career accomplishments. Executive Board members’ individual experiences with each candidate. Capacity among membership openings, industry groups (i.e. acquisitions, development, banking, brokerage, attorneys, consultants, etc.), and firms (limit to two per company). Applications where a company maintains two active members will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis as it relates to size of company and area of expertise / job function of applicant. Upon reaching the age of 40, active members become honorary members and continue to share similar privileges.

Honorary Membership
Honorary membership is offered to members when they reach the age of 40. These members continue to share the same privileges as they had while on active status and receive a discount in annual dues. Honorary members play an important role in our membership by connecting and recruiting key players within the industry.
